About the session

With the 2020 deadline just months away, how has the smart meter rollout performed? How many smart meters have actually been installed, and what comes after the rollout? This session will look forward, asking how smart meters are changing customer behaviour, and exploring whether retailers are getting the maximum benefit from the information now available to them?

She has more than 26 years experience in both strategy and operational roles, with strong team leadership, analytical and delivery skills. She worked at CXO level in product management, strategy, customer service and product development.A few years ago she also took a two year career break to teach Maths in west London secondary schools. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, playing sports, dancing and DIY.

Over the past 16 years Bill has worked in the electronic recycle sector as Asia MD for Retronix, and spent two years in the Solar sector developing Solar development strategies for Solar350 Ltd.

    Acting Content Director, Utility Week

    Denise Chevin is acting content director of Utility Week and has been instrumental in launching its new technology and innovation title, Flex. She has 25 years’ experience as a business journalist, editor and commentator and policy adviser. Her roles have included editing Building Magazine and before that the social housing magazine, Housing Today. Denise embarked on a career as a freelance writer and consultant in the built environment in 2010 and became a research fellow of the Smith Institute producing a number of reports covering a variety of topics including procurement. She has also authored six parliamentary reports including No More Lost Generations (looking at youth unemployment) and edited Infrastuctureintelligence.com
