About the session

Developing a smart transportation system

Integration of signalling systems with electrification design

Earthing principles and bonding design

The future of rail signalling and advanced traffic management

With electrification at the heart of a multi-billion pound programme to modernise Britain’s rail network, the IET’s 3rd Annual Seminar on Railway Electrification has never been more timely or relevant.

This year the seminar will focus primarily on the Great Western Electrification Programme, examining the work that has been achieved so far whilst providing key technical insights into the systems and engineering requirements needed to manage and implement a large scale electrification programme.
