Abstract
This #EngShort looks at the importance of #safety in our homes and the steps we can take to ensure that our #appliances are safe to use. Do you live in rented #accommodation with appliances you didn’t buy? Have you checked to make sure they are working correctly and more importantly, that they are safe? Here at the IET, we set the #standards for #electricalinstallation, so we know just how important correctly installed and #maintained appliances are for our safety.
