This presentation outlines how safety culture was adapted to ATM, and how this has triggered some evolution of the approaches traditionally available in this area. The challenges of rolling out a safety approach across 38 countries, against a background context of other pan-European and global organisations with their own pre-existing agendas for safety, are also discussed.
