    Dr Aris Bonanos

    Dr Aris Bonanos is a research & innovation manager at EXUS AI Labs, the research and development department of EXUS Software in Athens, Greece. EXUS AI Labs aims to contribute to the generalisation of Artificial intelligence, the openness of data and the commoditisation of Big Data platforms, with focus on providing robust solutions to real problems and across a multitude of verticals. Aris currently coordinates the S4AllCities project, with EXUS contributing to the project’s technical solution through a high-level data fusion component, an early warning and alert raising engine, and a gesture based interaction solution. He has experience in managing projects in the health, ICT and security domains, and previously worked on renewable energy solutions based on concentrated solar power for providing electricity and desalinated seawater. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
