About the session

EVs have reached the tipping point.  With all new petrol and diesel vehicles banned from 2040, 50 per cent of cars sold in the UK will be electric vehicles by 2026, government predicts. Against this backdrop of transformational change, how will vehicles be fuelled? How will the market evolve and what innovation, investment and infrastructure will be required to support the development of sustainable transport? This session will explore these challenges, and assess the opportunities EVs create for the management of a smart, flexible energy system.
