Role of Audio in Digital Consumer Goods

Whilst digital processors are becoming more complex and are increasingly being manufactured using 90- or 65-nm technologies, there is a drive to integrate all of the interface technology into single complex mixed signal circuits. This requires the integration of the signal channel and power management functions in high-performance mixed signal circuits. This presentation discusses the issues involved in the integration of audio and power management functions for portable and home-based consumer products.
