Abstract
The UK Government has announced its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050.
In July 2019, less than a month after the announcement, the Green Alliance and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands co-hosted an event in London to explore the possibilities for British-Dutch cooperation on retrofitting homes and working towards a net-zero carbon future.
At the event, the IET spoke to thought leaders from both countries to find out what needs to be done in the housing sector to ensure this target is reached, and the differences between the British and Dutch approaches to retrofitting and building energy efficiency.
