Project Planning for Major Track Projects and Maintenance

This presentation describes TUSP's project planning system for Balfour-Beatty Rail Infrastructure Services' (BBRIS) major track projects and maintenance. For the first time, BBRIS now have total visibility of their entire programme of work, the system having been implemented within all of their depots. As well as much of the technical input to this project, the speaker has also undertaken a significant amount of personal coaching. This personal approach has been important in this instance as, with many projects, getting a new system in is not the difficulty; it is getting people to buy in to it and what it can deliver.
