    Nuno works as a Human Factors Engineer for Thales Ground Transportation Systems where he supports several projects including Intelligent Infrastructure Monitoring. He is the Thales Human Factors support on PCIPP (the same project discussed by Dr. John Easton on the previous talk) where he will be looking to, amongst other tasks, develop an Alarms Management philosophy & strategy (his topic for today). Nuno holds a PhD in Human Factors and has been working as a Human Factors Engineer / Ergonomist in the railways for about 5 years on a range of projects covering signalling, asset monitoring, electrical control rooms, and rail maintenance.
