About the session
The demands placed on the outside plant in FttH (Fibre to the Home) networks are far higher than any previously deployed optical infrastructure. The networks must be more flexible and dynamic and, in particular, the provision of fibre connections to individual customer premises presents unique difficulties. This presentation will describe how these challenges can be overcome using pre-connectorised solutions which reduce the time and skill level needed for installation and so enable fast initial network deployment and low cost customer connections on an ongoing basis.
