Ruth Janning is a PhD student and research assistant at the Information Systems and Machine Learning Lab of the University of Hildesheim, Germany. She studied computer science with focus on Artificial Intelligence and received an excellent bachelor's and master's degree at the University of Hagen, Germany. Already during her studies she had a high interest in research questions and published scientific papers. Since September 2011 she is involved in the project Adaptive Contactless Ground Penetrating Radar, addressing the automatic detection and position estimation of buried pipes.
