Marina Gashinova received the M.Sc. in mathematics from St-Petersburg State University in 1991 and PhD in radiophysics in 2003 from St-Petersburg Electrotechnical University, St-Petersburg, Russia. From 2003 to 2006 she was an Associate Professor at St.-Petersburg Electrotechnical University, Russia. Since 2006 she is with the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK, first as a Research Fellow and then a Lecturer in Communication Engineering.Her area of research interests includes bistatic radars, signal processing, theoretical modelling in propagation and numerical techniques for microwave structures modelling and design.
