This free one-day meeting brings together research engineers and scientists to share the latest technical knowledge about electromagnetic devices, systems and the propagation of electromagnetic fields.
The call for contributions aspect will provide a forum for experienced and in-experienced presenters to show their early stage research results to a knowledgeable cross-cutting audience. This provides an opportunity for external-researchers to get involved early and those conducting the research to learn from the experience of others that may have completed similar work.
This colloquium will provide a community networking opportunity, useful particularly for those working in industry who find it difficult to attend multi-day conferences with registration fees.
The informal format also provides an opportunity for cross cutting collaborations and discussions prior to the event and afterwards through the community web-pages
