Abstract
In this presentation, the speaker discusses innovative trends in the defence and security industries. Recent cutting-edge innovations are explored, including projects such as: (1) the evolution of radar and multifunction systems; (2) modern battlefield communication systems; (3) the detection of sniper and other small arms fire; and (4) biological and chemical hazard detection systems. The speaker also touches on the future of defence and security innovation driven by current US DoD budget constraints.
