  • 00:17 - 00:17
  • Duration: 1 hr 13 mins
  • Publication date: 17 Apr 2007
  • Location: IETTV_Room, IETTV_Venue, Nice, France
  • Part of event Design, Automation and Test in Europe. DATE 2007

About the session

The number of fabless companies with a European base lags behind that of US-based corporations, but does that mean the European fabless industry operates at a disadvantage? Is success in Europe harder, or is Europe building up its own collection of companies with complementary offerings to those from the US and the Far East? This panel session looks at what it takes to succeed with a European base and how companies can make use of both local expertise and the abilities of global partners to reach the top of your chosen market sector.
