One feature that distinguishes Galileo from other GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) systems is the Public Regulated Service (PRS). This presentation discusses: PRS (Public Regulated Service) at a glance (performance, architecture, the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre, key management etc.); PRS receivers (secondary channels, and exploring what benefits tie in with professional mobile radio); and a case study of Protector, which is a GSA (GNSS Supervisory Authority) study for the mitigation of interference to the Galileo system and its services.
