This free-to-attend and interactive session will examine music production interfaces from the past and present - as well as some that might well be prevalent in the future. The late 20th Century saw the technology used to create and produce music pass into the hands of those who were previously passive consumers. This session, hosted by Imperial College London and the Institution for Engineering and Technology will examine further the repercussions of this convergence of music and technology. How will music creation and sound control change as we move into the 21st Century??The speaker, Professor David Howard, is a leading pioneer in music technology.
