This presentation discusses the rollout of W-EDGE Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (near-field communication), Wi-Fi and mobile TV. Baseband/platform suppliers will emerge as the leading market shareholders for multi-radio, connectivity-enabled handsets. In the power amplifier (PA) and front-end module (FEM) market, only the top three or four suppliers with manufacturing scale and R&D budgets will survive.
