About the session

Making V2X an everyday mainstream reality.

Track EVI: Charging Ahead

Matthew Knight. Principal Technical Specialist of Technical Innovation. Cenex.

This talk will offer a broader examination of the current state of V2X technology, its ecosystems, current status, challenges, risks and what needs to happen to enable it to go mainstream. This presentation will discuss a range of issues including protocol standards, incompatibility between standards, grid code issues, market readiness, an open ecosystem and risks to an interoperable consumer experience. Case studies from current V2X projects will help illustrate how the technology is developing to reduce some of these barriers and find new areas of application.
