The purpose of this event was to hear how a "Dragon's Den" success story managed to produce innovative products for the mass market using a worldwide manufacturing base. This presentation explains how using the extended supply chain can present real problems and opportunities for the manufacturing industry and for new product introduction. The new product considered is the 'Trunki' ride-on suitcase for children.
