Abstract

This step-by-step video guide is a helpful introduction showing teachers and parents how to make a dancing skeleton with movable arms and legs.

This fun STEM challenge is aimed at primary school children and could be used as a main lesson activity to teach learners about human anatomy. It could also be used as part of a wider scheme of learning focussing on the human body, mechanisms and movements, or designing and making products within a Halloween-themed context, alongside other IET Halloween themed resources.

Download the free activity sheets and supporting resources on our resource page for more detailed instructions, teachers notes and for optional extension work. These are free to download, and all the documents are fully editable, so you can tailor them to your students’ and your schools’ needs.

Please share your classroom learning highlights with us @IETeducation.
