About the session

The 2016 Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference provides an opportunity to explore the key learnings from electricity and gas network innovation projects. The programme will provide unparalleled networking opportunities in addition to project focused presentations and workshops.

Co-hosted by Electricity North West and taking place at the iconic Manchester Central, the LCNI Conference will be held on 11-13 October 2016. The conference and exhibition will be the UK's must-attend electricity and gas network innovation event for 2016.

    Tony has a background in Whitehall and Westminster, having worked at the heart of government for two chief whips as well as a spell in 10 Downing Street. Since 2003 he has worked for the electricity and gas sector through Energy Networks Association (ENA). He was also from 2008?2012 the spokesman for all the utilities on street works issues. He is currently Director of Policy where he is responsible for the Communications, Policy, Regulation, European and Gas teams. He has led the campaign to address the scourge of metal theft by changing the scrap metal law. He also chairs the EU wide GEODE Future of Gas Group. He sits on the Board of the Gas Industry Safety Group and the Advisory Board of the Energy Innovation Centre.
