Abstract
Artificial intelligence has changed the world of sports for players and fans, but is it fair to use AI? From goal line technology, betting, recruiting, performance, analysis and broadcasting, we see the impacts of AI in sports. However, can AI make us stronger, faster or lighter? AI has given us access to data that we never had before. Through the use of sensor technologies, coaches can improve player techniques and build strategies. Using real-time feedback, players can maximise results and improve training. There are many advantages that teams gain from using AI, but is it fair to use it? Some teams don’t have access to these technologies and may be at a disadvantage. Safety, privacy and fairness must be considered as AI continues to change the world of sports.
