How will the next generation help us deliver the innovative solutions of the future? The 2012 Olympic Games gives us an opportunity to show the world how young engineers will shape our future. Inter-disciplinary activities will be required on a level not yet considered - how do our young engineers see these opportunities? The Mayor of London has focused the Olympic bid on delivering a ‘green' energy infrastructure. Some £6 billion is to be spent on infrastructure development; are we really developing an innovative solution?
