    Ilias Gkotsis

    Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), Associate Researcher

    Mr Ilias Gkotsis works for the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) in Greece. KEMEA was appointed by Presidential Decree No39 (06.05.2011), as the “National Contact Point” for the protection of European Critical infrastructures (ECIs), implements research projects and studies on security and is the Coordinator of EUSTO project. He has participated in several research projects regarding CIP, Disaster Management, Border Surveillance, UAVs, Climate Change, etc. Ilias has previously worked in several Transport related projects. He is a Mechanical and Aeronautics Engineer, holding an MSc in Energy Production and Management, and he is currently conducting his PhD research in the Transportation and Environmental area in NTUA.
