About the session

Innovation from within and outside the energy sector is key to addressing global challenges of sustainable, affordable, and secure energy for all. Innovate UK and the Department of Energy and Climate Change work closely with each other to connect and fund new ideas, technologies, products and services to help companies in their first steps along the innovation journey towards commercialisation. We connect and fund hundreds of companies through our innovation programmes that address the challenges our energy systems face whilst also providing significant commercial opportunity to UK plc. We hope to link up innovative companies with potential customers, partners and follow on investment, through an exciting and fast paced pitching and networking sessions. By attending you will hear about the market opportunities that have been identified, how the companies are delivering value, what they are looking for as a next step and have the chance to meet with those pitching.

This is a snapshot of companies we have supported over the last 6 years, and if you would like to know about our wider programmes please come along to the conference session and speak to one of the team. We look forward to seeing you there! We have published a directory of the projects that were pitching as well as a number of others that were unable to make the day. This will be available on the day of the event.
