Abstract
Amongst the finalists were inventive ideas applied to agricultural systems, waste minimisation and technical advancements in energy systems.The judges were unanimous in selecting an entry with promising commercial viability in the near term, and which has the promise of widespread adoption in electricity generating markets.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
