Abstract
White space networks undoubtedly represent the next global growth area for wireless. Targeting the area of Machine to Machine (M2M) communications for example, is an exciting and challenging opportunity because machines do not communicate like humans and a new paradigm is required for dedicated M2M networks. The judges were also pleased to see that a Special interest Group has been formed to develop and promote a ubiquitous M2M standard they call quot;weightlessquot;, from a Neul developed framework and noted that technical trials have indicated that NeulTV white space systems do not interfere with TV's or wireless microphonesquot;.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation.
