Abstract
Last year's record entry to the Sustainability category was surpassed by no less than 40 entries this year. The finalists all showed a commendable means for reducing material impact on the environment. This is an excellent concept now in use on commercial vehicles, with the potential to develop later for passenger cars. An innovation which will contribute to a more sustainable means of road transport.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
