Abstract
The winning team demonstrated the use of established technologies to tightly-couple the needs of the customers with the design, maintenance and support of the product. This coupling enables dialogue with the customers to discover their real needs; in the operational language used by the customers.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
