Abstract
The Ashwood device is a unique means to provide the benefits of hybrid drive systems to light commercial vehicles through rapid and non-intrusive retrofit. It has proved successful and reliable in operation, been shown to deliver substantial fuel and emissions savings, and gained popularity with potential customers. Delivering these advantages through effective retrofit enables them to be realised.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation.
