BAE Systems, Maritime Services, Radar Stream
Peter Tait graduated with first class honours in Physics from Imperial College, London University and joined the Marconi Research Laboratories working in radar receiver research. He is currently in the Radar Stream of Maritime Services in BAE Systems and leads the radar target recognition work. He has filed several UK and worldwide patents, regularly presents papers at international conferences and is a lecturer for the NATO educational programme. He is a member of NATO working groups and has written the book amp;quot;An Introduction to Radar Target Recognitionamp;quot; for the IET. He has been awarded the BAE Chairman's Silver Award for the detection of plastic landmines and won a company world class technology award for his target recognition work. He is a BAE Systems Engineering Fellow, Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IET.
