I'm a broadcaster - get me out of here

This presentation describes the problems that broadcasters are now facing. While broadcast equipment is now more reliable and easier for non-technicians to use, broadcast engineers need new skill sets (which is difficult for "oldies"), there are fewer technical staff in broadcasters, and those who are left have less influence; there is an ever-wider range of platforms and technologies, and there are fewer influences to encourage interoperability and commonality. If you're not confused, you don't understand the situation!
