This presentation discusses the ISO 55000 standard which will come into effect in 2014. The standard will provide an overview of asset management, together with its concepts and terminology. There will also be two related standards: ISO 55001 will specify the requirements for good asset management practices, while ISO 55002 will provide interpretation and implementation guidance for such an asset management system.
