Abstract

In 2017 the IET and the UK-Israel Tech Hub led a mission to Israel with key UK mobility stakeholders, enabling them to make new contacts and learn about Israeli innovation and how cyber security relates to smart mobility.

The mission, which aimed to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice while promoting tech partnerships in Intelligent Mobility, involved representatives from Arup, the Transport Systems Catapult, InMotion Ventures, Jefferies, Horiba Mira, NCC Group, Ricardo Innovations and Transport for London. Along with the IET and the UK-Israel Tech Hub, they met with a range of Israeli companies, start-ups and researchers in the area of Intelligent Mobility.

While on the trip, IET Transport spoke to some of the delegates about the UK-Israel tech relationship, what they gained from taking part and the opportunities that are out there in the Intelligent Mobility space.
