The IET, Young Professionals Engagement Manager

I have been at the IET for 7 years. Prior to becoming the Young Professionals Engagement Manager in March 2014, I was PA to the Director of Knowledge Management and Secretary to the Knowledge Management Board which gave me a sound understanding of the IET’s governance structure and volunteering roles.As Senior Staff Member of the YPCC, I seek to take the best ideas emerging from the YPs and put them into practice as well as raise the profile of the great work that our international YPs are doing around the world to offer them a more rewarding volunteering experience with the IET.I am full of energy and think that you can achieve anything with a positive attitude!

Emily looks after marketing and fundraising for IET Connect. She speaks at events, manages the website, and looks after all promotional and communication activities. Her main aim is raise awareness of IET Connect and to encourage people to either contact us for help or to start supporting us
