About the session

Craft Prospect

1. Quantum Technologies:

a. JADE Quantum Source: We have developed the world’s first ever CubeSat compatible Quantum Source which can be used to perform secure quantum communications for future proof cybersecurity and combat the threat of quantum computers.

b. APATITE: Beam steering system for optical comms and quantum cybersecurity

c. CubeSat Telescope: Small lightweight telescope fitting into 10*10*10 cm^3 space in a CubeSat can be used for optical laser comms or quantum comms

2. AI:

a. FLI: We have developed a modular feature detection product for CubeSats – light neural networks deployed onto space-grade FPGAs to perform intelligent feature detection and decision making aboard satellites. This can detect clouds, fire, wildlife and can be used for a variety of use-cases ranging from quantum cybersecurity for cloud avoidance to earth observation

b. The AI Toolbox – We have developed a suite of AI software products which can be deployed on space-hardware to perform intelligent data processing and reduce the amount of overheads. This will help us develop precursors to self-steering satellites.
