On Friday 29 July 2016, the IET hosted its second Engineering Open House Day by joining forces with twenty-three iconic venues and businesses across the UK. All of the organisations involved offered insight into what life is like as an engineer, highlighting the important roles that engineers play in businesses and the creative careers that are available in the industry.
