    Richard Dean

    Cisco, Head of Security Services EMEAR

    Richard Dean has been active in the field of cyber security for over a decade after taking an interest in while Studying Physics at University. Building upon a passion for wanting to understand how things work, allowed him to quickly start tackling difficult security challenges. First at Portcullis then at Cisco Richard has enjoyed working in and then leading a technical Team with wide ranging talents, personally taking part in diverse projects from the mundane web application assessments to scenario simulations and everything in between. He always makes sure to ask the question “How does this work and what is it supposed to do?”, which was the premise for his 2012 Blackhat presentation entitles “The Art Of Exploiting Logical Flaws In Web Apps”. Taking this premise and applying it to both technology and processes has allowed Richard to work with a vast array of business to help improve their cyber security maturity, and verify that these improvements are effective in practise. Currently Richard works for Cisco’s Customer Experience Team, running the Technical Assurance branch of the EMEAR Security Advisory department. His Team offers strategic and tactical consultancy covering all areas of cyber security, from defensive capability, through detection of active threats and reaction to the inevitable breach.

    Graham Turner has worked in the pay and digital television field since the late 1980s when he joined British Satellite Broadcasting to head their content protection activities. In 1991 he co-founded Farncombe Technology, the specialist content protection and digital television consultancy where he was involved in a number of high profile pay TV launches as well as helping broadcasters fight piracy of their services. He was also a member of a number of DVB committees, in particular that for SI. In 2007 he took on a Vice President role at Nagra and then in 2011 returned to consultancy. He is now Chairman of the IET's Multimedia Communications Technical and Professional Network.

    Erhan Temurkan is a Lead Cyber Security Consultant at Arqiva, a major UK infrastructure company which supports 40% of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure spanning the broadcast, telecommunications, finance, energy and utility sectors; including its latest innovation - the communications network for the world's most advanced Smart Metering Network. Erhan has the responsibility of designing solutions which are secure by design within Arqiva’s infrastructure, alongside risk management, business impact and control assessments. In order to do so, Erhan is an advocate for SABSA’s approach to security architecture.Erhan’s experience spans both the Private and Public sector specialising in Global cyber incidents/investigations within law enforcement, malware analysis, and first response to major organisations. Erhan holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway University London.Alongside his role, Erhan is also an Ambassador for the Cyber Security Challenge UK, a series of national competitions, learning programmes, and networking initiatives designed to identify, inspire and enable more people to become cyber security professionals.

    Denis Onuoha is Chief Information Security Officer at Arqiva, a major UK infrastructure company supporting 40% of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure spanning broadcast, telecommunications, finance, and utility sectors. He has overall responsibility for Information Risk Management and Cyber Security and is at the forefront of Arqiva?s defences against emerging cyber threats.Denis achieved MSc Information Security from Royal Holloway University and BSc Computer and Network Security from the University of Hertfordshire. Having completed his undergraduate studies, he commenced work in the financial sector prior to moving to the broadcast industry. Denis is an ISO27001 lead auditor and implementer and holds both CISA and CISM certifications.A proactive information security professional, Denis sits on three of UK's Critical Infrastructure Government Information Exchanges, is the elected Chair of the AIB Cyber Security Working Group and a member of the CREST Senior Industry Advisory Panel.
