Since graduating from university in 2002, Emma has worked in various roles within Northern Powergrid and has built up 13 years’ experience in the electricity industry. Originally working in the income department, responsible for managing the interface between electricity suppliers and the network, Emma moved onto digital communications in 2010. Emma is Northern Powergrid’s Digital Services Manager responsible for the website, most recently leading the project to launch a new responsive website that provides a range of online services to customers. Emma is also responsible for managing and implementing the business’s social media strategy
