About the session
Jon Warren presented on the future energy system and the changes in warming our homes. He began by explaining that young people’s careers will see lots of new, zero carbon technology being deployed. He also discussed the ‘Valley of Death’ of innovation model and the potential role young engineers can have in this. Jon also talked about how consumers use their homes and moving away from energy and gas bills and moving toward a mobile phone bill, with a set amount of heat and hot water each day
