This presentation discusses the link between reliability, functional system safety and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility). Starting with some EMC concepts, including a recall on the error ratio general formula, the speaker looks at the classical farmer diagram to locate the EMC approach in its space. The presentation looks at the major questions that need to be asked about the reliability community, in order to start the development of links between the two activities.
