This presentation considers the types of electronic evidence that are available from a mobile phone, and introduces a forensic procedure for extracting them. Network information and phone tracking are also discussed. The presentation concludes by considering aspects of future development, and the problems and opportunities that such developments will potentially bring to forensic investigations.
