About the session

This talk covers good practice and refers to practical experience of developing BIM (building information modelling) to support asset information and management for Crossrail. The topics covered include: an overview of Crossrail and its progress; BIM and asset information fundamentals (good-practice BIM and asset management, quality asset information enablers, asset representation, and building two Crossrails); and collecting and utilising BIM and asset information (quality asset information provision, the Crossrail smart railway, smart initiatives, sharing good practice, and benefits).
