    Michael Cook

Kier Utilities & Thames Water infra Alliance, Transformation Director

Michael is re-imagining how services are delivered in response to increased consumer expectations and social changes. In a traditional industry, he is turning information into intelligence and providing frontline staff with robotic and autonomous systems to replace age-old manual tools. Changing the culture to encourage adoption is one of the biggest challenges that he and his team face.Currently a transformation leader and ‘intrapreneur’ at Kier and the Thames Water Infrastructure Alliance, Michael’s interest in Transformation was born while working as part of the team implementing changes in support of devolved government and stability in Northern Ireland. With KPMG, he supported Blue Light clients and the Home Office respond to the fiscal and operational challenges arising from the financial crisis. Reconfiguring those critical services turned the crisis into a real opportunity.
