Abstract
The IET (http://www.theiet.org/) awarded 530 Diamond Jubilee Scholarships in 2013, a major investment in the next generation of engineers in the UK.The scholars had achieved either 3, A's at A Level, 3 'A' grade Advanced Highers, 5 'A' grade Highers or an International Baccalaureate Diploma at 36 points or above and been accepted on an IET accredited engineering or technology degree course starting in Autumn 2013. Over 250 Diamond Jubilee scholars gathered at the London Film museum on Wednesday 11 December 2013.
