About the session

Radar Sensing and Industrial Applications

The Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC) is the largest annual UK conference dedicated to the fields of Antennas and Propagation. LAPC, now holding its 12th event, regularly attracts 200 to 250 national and international participants from academia, research institutes, industry and government bodies.  We serve a global community; in 2015 over half our papers originated from outside the UK.  LAPC is organised each year by academics and support staff at the Wolfson School  of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University, UK.

LAPC follows a single-track format where invited guest talks in special sessions are alternated with open poster sessions collocated with exhibitors.  With no other parallel activity, poster presenters gain maximum exposure to showcase their work and often comment on how valuable their experiences have been.

The Burleigh Court International Conference Centre at Loughborough University will again host this year’s event.  Loughborough is located at the centre of the UK and is just a 15 minute drive from the East Midlands Airport or 1h:15min by train from London.  With its 4 Star on-site accommodation, Burleigh Court provides a convenient, comfortable and friendly environment for delegates to discuss and debate new research; network and collaborate on projects; and catch up on new technologies
