As technology advances towards the petabyte age, the challenges faced will involve not only the storage of data, but also the efficient management of that data. This presentation takes a critical look at the methods of file I/O available in LabVIEW and shows how features such as the DataFinder and the TDM Streaming API assist in the storage and mining of data.
