About the session
DVB-C2 supports 1024 QAM at 70 Mbps and 4096 QAM at 84 Mbps, provided the HFC network permits a sufficient strong signal level. If this level cannot be met, deployment will be limited to 1024 QAM. In close collaboration with operators, the ReDeSign project has completed such calculations for networks with short, medium-long and long cascades. This presentation discusses the results and the feasibility of 4096 QAM modulation.
